As we start to prepare the ground and clear the vineyard for the new season, we sometimes come across some very large stones. Where did they come from?
Our vineyard enjoys the varied mineral and soil deposits left by the last retreating ice sheets, terminal moraine. This diversity below the surface helps to create interesting taste notes in the grapes/wine above.
