It's frosty in the vineyard.

Another day waking up to a winter wonderland. This makes me happy.

Say what!

Yes frost at this time of the year is just what the vineyard needs. As we practice natural regenerative viticulture we use no chemicals or outside inputs in the vineyard. We are trying to work in harmony with nature. The frost is a really important part of the process to achieving balance within the ecosystem, it is a natural cull. It will effect the smallest microbes to larger flora and fauna. So that life can flourish, death is necessary. We welcome Mother Natures gift and the continuity of the cycle of which we are all a part
